UBS has no Intent to Buy Credit Suisse

In his recent interview, UBS chairman Colm Kelleher stated that the bank has no intentions of acquiring the fellow Swiss lender Credit Suisse.

He also noted that the bank's vision is to work on organic growth in the U.S. and ruled out any potential merger with Credit Suisse. The chairman also added that UBS is not seeking to benefit from the crisis of Credit Suisse, although wealthy clients are flocking from the embattled Swiss bank to UBS. Still, the chairman said that UBS has no desire to merge the two banks as its customers have already enjoyed the highest amounts of cash flow since 2008.
